Are you eligible for $750 government coronavirus economic stimulus package ?

Australian PM has announced $750 payment for each eligible household as part of its coronavirus economic stimulus package. Not every household will receive the payment. Approx. 6.5 million people are expected to receive the payment.

If you are receiving one of the below payments, you may be eligible for $750 once off payment from government.

• Family Tax Benefit A
• Family Tax Benefit B
• Carer Payment
• Carer Allowance
• Disability Support Pension
• Parenting Payment
• Wife Pension
• Youth allowance
• Widow B Pension
• Austudy
• Newstart Allowance
• Partner Allowance
• Sickness Allowance
• Special Benefits
• Widow Allowance
• Farm Household Allowance

You will also get the payment if you get 1 of the following concession cards:

• Pensioner Concession Card
• Commonwealth Seniors Card
• DVA Gold Card

The Payment is subject to legislation passing. It’s tax exempt. They also won’t use this payment to pay off existing Centrelink or child support debt.

You don’t need to do anything. If you are eligible government will send you money.
