Commonwealth games auction sees tech and gadgets on sale from $1 and bidding will go from there. It is too good to be true but barely used phones, televisions and other white goods are on auction starting from only $1.

Tens of thousands of items are about to go under the hammer in the second online auction of its kind, but this time with a focus on tech and gadgets.

“All ex-Comm Games assets, wide variety, from high performance bikes to tools and trade equipment to tech assets,” Paul Thomasson from Lloyds Auctioneers and Valuers said.

Auction has started from Friday and will run every Friday till 15 June on Lloyds Auction website. Some items you can get delivered while others need to be collected.

“It’s money that will return back to the government so it’s a really responsible way to deal with public assets” Mr Thomasson said.

Auction is held on Lloyds website. Check on Friday 1 June.
