Economic payment of $250 will start from 30th November

$250 payment starts next week. You have till 27^th November to be eligible.

This first economic payment is set to be paid from 30^th November 2020 and the second payment of $250 will start from 1^st March 2021.

Around 5.1 million Australians are eligible for these payments. Those eligible for the handout includes aged and disability pensioners, veterans, people on carer payment and family tax benefit recipients.

When you will get cash in your bank account?

Eligible people will receive a $250 cash in this December and another $250 in March 2021.

To meet the income test, individuals or couple must earn below the following thresholds.

For single income must be less than $55,808

For couple Income must be less than $89,290

Australians have until 27^th November to be eligible and receive the first $250 payment. If you have recently lost your job or your hours and income has been reduced, then make sure to update your income in Centrelink before 27^th November.
