Riya Patel who recently arrived in Sydney on Student Visa at start of the year died on 16th April 2023 in a car accident in Sydney. She was travelling with her friends from Sydney to Wollongong on 16th when the driver loose control of the car and the car rolled over on M31 near Picton area.
In this car accident other passengers including car driver injured but unfortunately Ria passed away. Her parents are in India, and they are in shocked of sudden death of their daughter.
Indian community and Gujarati Samaj are working to send her body back to India. Riya’s Cousin Shailesh Patel has organised funding which will help to send Riya’s body to India. If you would like to donate, please go to below funding website.
