Indian man found dead in Indian restaurtant in Ballarat Victoria

An Indian man, named Abdullah Siddiqi age 30 years, was murdered in the Ballarat Curry House indian restaurant in Melbourne last night. Police has arrested Hari Prasad Dhakal and charged him for the murder.




The reason behind the murder is still unknown. Dhakal does not have any criminal history. Dhakal’s lawyer said his client was suffering from a stomach ulcer and was taking the prescription drug mexum daily for it.

Dhakal’s body and face were unmarked and showed no sign of a scuffle. Dhakal will appear to the court in march next year for hearing.

There were no signs of disturbance in the double-storey restaurant, with white table clothes, cutlery and glassware in place.
