An Indian man arriving in Perth on a Temporary Skilled Graduate Visa has been send back to India from Airport after being found with child exploitation material in his mobile phone.
The 30 years old Indian man landed at Perth Airport on Friday on 22 June 2018. During baggage check the Border Force officer also checked his three mobiles which was carrying with him. One of the mobile had objectionable material in relation to child exploitation. Office seized his mobile phone.
The man was then detained, transferred to the Perth Immigration detention centre. He was then removed from the Australia.
“We also work closely with our law enforcement partners both here and abroad to share information relating to these persons to ensure we are protecting not only Australian children, but potential victims offshore,” Acting ABF Regional Commander for WA, Mark Wilson said.
