Indian taxi driver was allegedly stabbed on his head

24 years old woman has been charged after an Indian taxi driver was allegedly stabbed in the Ashfield Sydney.

According to the NSW Police, an Indian migrant, Rajiv Sethi was stabbed on a side of his head after attempting to rob him. He then drove himself to the police station. Police later arrested 24 years old woman.




As per Rajiv, he picked up the female passenger on Sunday from Ashfield. The woman then took our knife and put on Rajiv’s throat and stabbed at side of his head. While bleeding he drove to a Police station to seek help where paramedics treated him and later took him to the hospital. His condition is stable now.

The woman was arrested from her house and taken to the Burwood police station where she was charged with assault with intent to rob. She is due to appear in the court on Wednesday.
