I am fan of Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma serial. I am sure most of all Indians watch this TV show. Yesterday TV actor Kavi Kumar Azad, who was known for his role of Dr Hansraj Hathi, died after suffering a cardiac arrest. Dr Hathi was unwell and rushed to the Hospital. Doctor announced him dead on arrival.
About Dr Hathi (Kavi Kumar):
He was originally from Bihar. He was living in Mumbai with his parents and his brother and sister-in-law (Bhabhi). My Hathi was unmarried.
He was very fond of food. He used to eat lot of junk food as well as sweet items such as candy and ice-creams. He was very friendly and always helping others.
Kavi Kumar Azad was a popular face not just on TV but in films as well. He has worked in films like Funtoosh and Aamir Khan’s Mela.
In 2014 doctor performed operation and reduced his weight from 254 KG to 178 KG. It was his dream to work in Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma. He was not selected in this serial at start but after a year he got an offer to play Dr Hathi role.
I pray for his soul. RIP
