Young aspiring Australian-Indian doctor dies plunging 20 meters at waterfall

Twenty years old doctor Vemuru went to hiking with her friends at Lamington National Park in Gold Coast. She was taking a photos at Yanbacoochie Falls at National park when she dropped her camera tripod over a ledge. She tried to retrieve it and slipped. She fell about 10 meters down a slope, before felling further 10 meters into waterhole.

It took over six hours for rescue crews to retrieve Vemuru’s body.

Her parents migrated to Australia several years ago and settled in WA. Ujvala was named as one of WA’s brightest young mind for her exam results in her final year in high school in 2018.

Her body was taken to her grand parents house in India for the funeral. Local authorities has issued cautionary advisory urging bushwalkers to remain on designated paths while exploring Lamington National Park.

Recently thirty years old Indian mother died after abortion in Melbourne which is another sad news.
